OMEGA vintage ladies watch, 1969, working and serviced

OMEGA vintage ladies watch, Swiss Made with in-house 485 movement, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced. Its serial number dates it to 1969. Ref. 61698.

Omega, the legendary Swiss watchmaker, was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt. The company truly took its iconic name in 1903. While famous for men’s watches, Omega also has a rich history of producing elegant women’s timepieces. The Caliber 485, an excellent example of this, is a high-quality manual-wind movement produced mainly in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This 17-jewel movement powered a variety of elegant dress watches from lines like the De Ville and Geneve. Vintage Omega watches with the Caliber 485 are highly valued by collectors for their classic design and the craftsmanship of a key era in watchmaking.

White gold-plated case. The watch also features its original white gold-plated Kreisler bracelet with safety chain. It will fit wrists of 16 cm approx. Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been serviced in August 2025.
