Why I picked this watch: What drew me to this 1967 Omega is its exceptional state of preservation—it looks almost as if it just stepped out of a boutique decades ago. It is a perfect example of late-60s minimalist elegance, with a 20.5 mm steel case that defines effortless feminine sophistication. Despite its delicate appearance, it is powered by the Calibre 620, an ‘ultra-flat’ movement only 2.5 mm thick that is a true gem of Swiss watchmaking. I selected this piece not only for its visual beauty and original signed glass but for its versatility; the combination of the clean dial and the new brown leather strap makes it a timeless accessory. This Omega is ready to bring a touch of historical distinction to any collection or to serve as the perfect, reliable gift.

OMEGA vintage ladies watch, Swiss Made with in-house 620 movement, 20.5 mm across excluding the crown, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced. Its serial number dates it to 1967. Ref. 511.298.

Omega, the legendary Swiss watchmaker, was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt. The company truly took its iconic name in 1903. While famous for men’s watches, Omega has a rich history of producing elegant women’s timepieces. Many of these featured small, thin manual-wind movements, like the Caliber 620, a marvel of engineering produced from the 1960s into the early 1970s. This “superflat” movement, only 2.5mm thin, powered many Omega ladies’ dress watches, including models from the De Ville and Geneve lines. These vintage pieces are highly sought after for their blend of sophisticated design and the meticulous craftsmanship of their small but powerful movements.

The watch is in an almost new condition. Steel case with original Omega-signed glass – please check the pictures. The watch also features a new brown leather strap. It will fit wrists of up to 17 cm. Lug width is 12 mm. Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been recently serviced.
