Why I picked this watch: I picked this 1967 Omega for its remarkable preservation and the technical integrity of its in-house 484 movement, which I have serviced to ensure modern-day reliability. Its refined mid-century aesthetic makes it an exquisite choice for those who value authentic heritage horology over mass production.

OMEGA vintage ladies watch, Swiss Made with in-house 484 movement, 17.7 mm across excluding the crown, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced. Its serial number dates it to 1967. Ref. 511.088.

Omega, the legendary Swiss watchmaker, was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt. The company truly took its iconic name in 1903. While famous for men’s watches, Omega also has a rich history of producing elegant women’s timepieces. The Caliber 484 is a prime example of this. Produced from the mid-1950s into the 1960s, this 17-jewel movement was renowned for its slim profile and reliability. It was a key caliber in many of Omega’s refined dress watch collections during that era. Vintage Omega watches with the Caliber 484 are highly valued by collectors for their classic design, dependable performance, and the superb craftsmanship that went into creating such a compact and elegant movement.

Stainless steel case with a gorgeous faceted crystal bezel – please check the pictures. The watch also features a new brown leather strap. It will fit wrists of up to 17 cm. Lug width is 8 mm. Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been recently serviced.
