OMEGA vintage watch, Swiss Made with in-house 26.5 T3 PC T1 movement, 32.5 mm across excluding the crown, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced. Its serial number dates it to 1950. Ref. 2450 9.
Omega, the legendary Swiss watchmaker, was founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt. The company truly took its iconic name in 1903, inspired by their revolutionary 1894 “Omega” calibre.
The Caliber 26.5 T3 PC T1 is a highly significant manual-wind movement in Omega’s history, representing the brand’s excellence in the 1940s and early 1950s. This small and robust movement was primarily used in a variety of elegant men’s watches, including the early “trench watch” styles and military-issue timepieces. Vintage Omega watches with the Caliber 26.5 T3 PC T1 are highly sought after by collectors for their historical significance, their robust and reliable engineering, and their place in the evolution of the wristwatch.
The stainless steel case has some scratches, and the dial shows a uniform patina with dots and marks – please check the pictures. The old lume material of hands and numerals is still present. The watch also features a NOS dark brown strap. It will fit wrists of up to 21 cm. Lug width is 18 mm. Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.
The watch will be delivered in its original Omega box as seen in the pictures.
As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been serviced in September 2025.
