MORTIMA Superdatomatic diver vintage watch, 38 mm, 1960s, working and serviced

MORTIMA Superdatomatic diver vintage watch, Cattin 66 movement with date indication, Made in France in the 1960s, diameter of 38 mm excluding the crown, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced.

Mortima, a French watch brand, was founded by Émile Cattin in 1926. Popular in the mid-20th century for affordable, stylish watches, Mortima is especially known for its SuperDatomatic line from the 1960s-1970s. Vintage SuperDatomatic models are highly collectible for their unique retro aesthetic and historical charm as accessible, everyday timepieces.

This piece has a chromed metal case. The metallic bezel rotates properly in both directions. The lume of the hands and indexes still glows a bit after all these years!
The watch also features a new black rubber diver strap. It will fit wrists of up to 21 cm.
Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.
The watch will be delivered in a new padded box as seen in the photos, for a better protection during transportation and for a smart and safe storing once you receive it.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been serviced in August 2025.
