Huge SICURA diver vintage watch, 40×44 mm, ca. 1970, working and serviced

Huge SICURA diver vintage watch, EB8021-68 movement with date indication, Swiss made ca. 1970, 40×44 mm across excluding the crown, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced.

Sicura, a Swiss watch brand, was founded in 1939 in Grenchen. Known for producing robust and affordable watches, Sicura became popular in the 1960s and 1970s for its sporty and utilitarian designs, including dive watches and chronographs. Vintage Sicura watches are now highly sought after by collectors for their unique retro aesthetics, affordability, and historical significance as accessible, everyday timepieces of their era.

The chromed metal case and the dial are worn on some areas, please check the photos.
The upper crown moves the inner bezel, while the lower crown is for winding and time setting. The bezel rotates properly in both directions. The watch also features a new black rubber strap. It will fit wrists of up to 22 cm. Lug width is 18 mm.
Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof. The watch will be delivered in a new padded box as seen in the photos, for a better protection during transportation and for a smart and safe storing once you receive it.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been serviced in August 2025.
