CERTINA vintage pointer date watch, 1945, cal. KF 320, working and serviced

Rare CERTINA pointer date vintage watch, Swiss Made with in-house KF320 movement, 32.5 mm across excluding the crown, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced. Its serial number dates it to ca. 1945.

Certina, the legendary Swiss watch brand, was founded in 1888 in Grenchen by Adolf and Alfred Kurth. While initially operating under other names, the brand officially adopted “Certina” (from the Latin “certus,” meaning “certain”) in 1938.
Certina produced a wide array of reliable timepieces, including many with manual-wind movements that were central to their early success and continued production. Among their notable manual-wind movements is the KF320, known for their accuracy and longevity. Vintage Certina watches with manual-wind movements are highly valued by collectors for their classic aesthetics, sturdy construction, and the direct connection they offer to the golden age of Swiss mechanical watchmaking.

This piece has a stainless steel case with some wear and scratches – please check the pictures.
The bi-tone dial is in a fair condition, the hands and indexes still displaying the original lume material. The pointer date feature makes it a true collector’s piece. Also check out the movement shield, featured in the Labora series and other military watches.
The watch also features a new Hirsch black leather strap. It will fit wrists of up to 21 cm. Lug width is 16 mm. Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.
The watch will be delivered in a padded box as seen in the photos, for a better protection during transportation and for a smart and safe storing once you receive it.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been serviced in August 2025.
