Antique LOUIS GUYARD vintage silver pocket watch, working and serviced

Antique LOUIS GUYARD vintage silver pocket watch, case of 46 mm, key-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced. Thanks to the hallmarks we can tell the watch was manufactured in France by Louis Guyard, most probably in the late 1890s or early 1900s.

The silver case has some scratches as can be seen in the photos. The enamel dial has several hairlines and a repair at 8, and the glass has a tiny chip at 9 – please refer to the pictures. The watch also features a silver chain. Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.
The watch will be delivered in a new padded box as seen in the photos, for a better protection during transportation and for a smart and safe storing once you receive it.

Time is set by turning the key into the centre hole, winding is done turning the key into the outer hole. As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. After the purchase, you can let me know if you will be using it with dial up or with pendant up so that I regulate it accordingly before shipping. The watch has been fully serviced in November 2025.
