1905 OMEGA silver vintage pocket watch, 50.5 mm, working and serviced

OMEGA vintage pocket watch, with Omega 19”’ manual wind movement, Swiss made in 1905 (according to its serial number), case of 50.5 mm, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced.

Omega, the legendary Swiss watchmaker, was founded in 1848 in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The company truly took its iconic name in 1903, inspired by their revolutionary 1894 “Omega” calibre, a movement renowned for its precision and ease of repair. Throughout the 20th century, Omega became synonymous with groundbreaking achievements, including being the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932 and the producer of the iconic Seamaster collection.

The engraved silver case has some scratches and wear as can be seen in the photos. The inner case is engraved for E. Grossi, a watch and jewerly store in Buenos Aires which is still in business! The enamel dial has some hairlines and a repair at III – please refer to the detailed photos. The watch also features a new metallic chain.
The watch will be delivered in a new padded box, for a better protection during transportation and for a smart and safe storing once you receive it.
Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. After the purchase, you can let me know if you will be using it with dial up or with pendant up so that I regulate it accordingly before shipping. The watch has been serviced in July 2025.
