Why I picked this watch: I picked this Dom Watch because it is a “hidden gem” that perfectly balances vintage charm with modern wearability. While its 36mm size is impressively contemporary for the 1950s, what truly sets it apart is the original hour hand. Powered by the ultra-slim Peseux 320, this watch sits flat on the wrist, allowing that striking handset to catch the light with every movement. Peseux 320 is a legendary Swiss manual-wind movement celebrated for its ultra-slim profile and robust, time-tested reliability. This 10.5-ligne “workhorse” was the heart of countless mid-century dress watches, prized by collectors for its elegant simplicity and exceptional ease of service.
The case gold plating and the caseback are worn on some areas, while the dial shows a uniform patina – please check the pictures. The watch also features a new old stock black leather strap with croc pattern. It will fit wrists of up to 22 cm. Lug width is 20 mm.
Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.
The watch will be delivered in a new padded box as seen in the photos, for a better protection during transportation and for a smart and safe storing once you receive it.
As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been serviced recently.
