Why I picked this watch: I picked this watch because finding a 1950s Cauny Prima that combines a 39 mm oversized case with the classic Landeron 203 movement is an absolute rarity. I am incredibly drawn to how the textured dial and the seconds register at 6 o’clock command attention, offering a modern wrist presence while preserving its pure mid-century sophistication. It’s a definitive statement piece for collectors who appreciate Swiss design.

Very rare CAUNY Prima vintage watch, with Landeron 203 movement, Swiss made in the 50s, 39 mm across excluding the crown, hand-wound (mechanical, no battery!), working fine and serviced.

The case chrome plating is worn in some areas – please check the photos. The texturized dial is ia very good condition! The watch features a new brown leather strap. It will fit wrists of up to 20 cm.
Water resistance has not been tested, therefore it must be treated as NON-waterproof.
The watch will be delivered in a new padded box as seen in the photos, for a better protection during transportation and for a smart and safe storing once you receive it.

As with any other vintage mechanical watch, exact accuracy cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on many factors, including your kind of use. It has been regulated in different positions to minimize the average time gain/loss. The watch has been recently serviced.
